Penang, Hotel Hopping, First Stop: Jalan Burmah, Tune Hotels (2019, Apr 11-19, Apr 21-22)

Unlike some people, I don't mind changing hotels if I'll be in town for more than 4 days. I'll do it for a change of location and for a better price. Although Georgetown is nothing short of good budget accommodations, lo and behold, Tune Hotels at Jalan Burmah is always on top of my list.

The room is not overly large, with recessed lighting, nice ceiling fan. Nice use of bedside lighting, versus overhead.

Since it's a slow pace two weeks holiday, I think I'll be channeling my inner sloth and coop up in my hotel room doing nothing. Local foods are plenty nearby, I'm not worried at all.

love these personal touches, like a handwritten welcome note, by the team at tune hotels. the hotel i've lived in so far is well-designed and location is central.
