Pagoda Hill |
塔山清影 "Reflection of the Hill on the Water" is one of the Eight Classic Scenes of Guilin.
Pagoda
Hill is also called Warship Hill because it looks like a warship going
up the river. The local people also refer to it as Lotus Leaf Hill.
Pagoda
Hill got its name because of the hexagonal Longevity Buddha Pagoda on
it. The seven-storey brick pagoda was built in the Ming Dynasty
(1368-1644). On the north wall of the pagoda, a statue of Longevity
Buddha (Amitabha Buddha) was encased - hence its name.

Four-body Stalactite |
The Single Stalactite with Most Connected Stone Shields, which set a
record in The Great World DSJJNS under "Biology & Nature" category
in July 1, 2009.
The stalactite shape resembles traditional
embroidery pin of Zhuang people. 4 pins in one stack, thus 4 stone
shields in a single stalactite hanging from the ceiling. The biggest
stone is 80 cm in diameter, and the smallest one 60 cm.

However in Mainland China, to go to a loo is an absolute nightmare, in particular to go number two.
|
very clean indeed, but it's missing one of the most important element of a toilet: the toilet door! no toilet door, so we have to do our business under the surveillance of everyone else in the queue. |
|
and it's the public toilet of the main tourist attraction in town. guess a transparent toilet would be nicer and more decent. |
