Bukit Bintang, Sungei Wang Hotel (2019, Nov 7-12)

I am never a backpacker, and since I tick most of the signs from "13 Signs You're Too Old to be A Backpacker" (traveller.com.au), Sungei Wang is just a perfect suit for my travel style. Getting a good sleep is the name of the game when I'm travelling.

Frankly, my appetite is being somewhat whetted by its location. Someone told me nothing beats the location. Hell yeah! I second that. The most happening malls and shopping centers in the area, aren't far from here, they're just around the bend.

Insomnia is the word. It don't do no good to count sheep either. I can try counting dinosaurs and that doesn't work. I've got room selecting down to a fine art. High floor, quiet corner room, that's it. Here we go!

The room suits me to a T. It's a dead-end-corner room, it's spacious, perfecto!

The location is numero uno. I think it's absolutely on the money for what I wanted.

Revisit: Batu Caves (2019, Nov 10)

Holiday season is upon us. I have to be up and at 'em by 8 am tomorrow morning if I want to fit in everything I have planned.

And here I am, at the very site of Batu Caves. Let's go to town on it.

The stairways have a panoply of colors now!!! It's not that colorful in 2006, if my memory serves me right.
