Luang Prabang Town (2010, Mar 17-18)

If you're a traveler who likes to get a feel the pulse of a place just before the rest of the world storms in, it's quite likely that Luang Prabang may just be the sort of town you've been looking for.

Buddhism is very much a way of life here. Monks dressed in deep orange robes, orderly patrol the streets as early as 5am, receiving alms from locals who patiently kneel on curbs. In return, the monks bless the alms-givers.
